Analogous Jewelry

Originally from upstate New York, Judith Hoetker moved to Brooklyn to go to Pratt Institute, where she studied painting and metalwork. When Judith first started, she made a lot of minimalist, conceptual jewelry. Eventually she was inspired to begin making pieces that she could wear everyday, because she had a funny idea, or because she wanted something fabulous to wear to a party.
