Brooklyn Petro began at the Chili Pepper Festival in Prospect Park. Scott Morris is a musician and bartender from Abilene, Texas and Campbell Rankin is a commercial real estate guy from upstate NY. They are working with Green Mountain Co-Packing in Vermont to launch the first of many hot sauces (Exhaust), marinades, salad dressings, and bar b q sauce that all have an underlying automotive theme ("Fuel For Food"). The art of local Brooklyn artists is used for the labels. Scott and Campbell host a monthly hot sauce gathering called Brooklyn Fire Eaters, and have were interviewed for Chili Pepper Magazine.

Beer Can Chicken
Ingredients:
1 Chicken
1 Can Tecante Beer (drink half)
2.5oz Exhaust
1 stick butter
1/2 Spanish Onion
2 Jalepeno
2 Cloves Garlic
A little Orange Juice

Recipe:
Drink half the beer while pre-heating the grill, med-high. Put half the Exhaust in the beer. Dice the spanish onion, jalapeno and garlic; stuff them in the beer too. Fill the rest of the beer can up with orange juice. Stick the beer can up the chicken's butt and set it on the grill standing on the beer. Lightly salt the outside of the chicken. In a saucepan, melt the butter along with the other half of the Exhaust. Use this to baste the chicken every 20 minutes or so.
