Jason Mitchell was raised in Maryland. He was educated at Rhode Island School of Design where he began using the name Jason Shithead for his art. He has since condensed his moniker to J$N. Now a working stiff/aging punk who paints out of his apartment he is a regular contributor to Roctober Fanzine.
